MISTY SUE HANKS
Misty has passed on to her next life. We sure will miss our Misty girl. She was such a wonderful dog. She had a wonderful 15 years. Bye Misty we love you!!!!

Finally some photos of our home. We have been spending all our time lately outside, so I will clean inside and send those photos soon. We got our garden planted 2 weeks ago. It is 32' by 25', a pretty good size for our first veggie garden. We can't wait till it is harvest time. YUMMY!!!! We had our property mowed this week. It should really green up soon. We are almost done cutting all the mesquite trees down. We will have that done and Monday and then they will be removing all the brush piles. We are excited for that. Right now we are kicking around a few different ideas for fencing, hopefully we will agree on something soon and get that done. Then we can start working on getting more concrete poured around our back porch and build a patio cover. That will be really nice and cut down some of the heat that comes in from all the windows on the back of the house.
We are waiting on the EPA to get our storm drainage system in front cleaned out and then we will be putting grass in down there, that will really finish the front yard off nicely. More later . . .

Hey Amy, I didn't realize you had a personal blog, I just thought you had the bad luck club one. I am so glad you are going to do this too! It is so nice to just check up on each other this way and I feel way more connected! It was great to talk to you tonight sorry I havnt been very good about calling lately I will be better! Love the fire works by the way, Michael would have a blast with some thing like this!
The house and yard look amazing. WOW you should have an amzing garden this year I was hoping to get one in but I think I will have to wait until next year I did a patio this year with our money :-). Sorry I had to leave comments on this post but it wouldn't let me on your knewest one. I was really sorry to hear about Misty, I am sure you all really miss her. It's good to know that she is finally in no more pain and can relax and rest. We sure hope you guys are doing good. We love & Miss you. Mel

Hey lady I should be better about checking these blogs but congrats on the house and the garden. You look like you havea lot of work but how awesome is that house?? I can't believe how close you live and we haven't met up. We need to do that. Sorry about the dog....that is hard. I don't even want to think about mine going. Too sad. Well I hope all is well and I would love to hear from you.
